The clothes I cherished and wore the most growing up were those pieces I grabbed out of my fathers and grandfathers closets. The only difference is that I can still wear those pants, flannels and jackets today and still would be considered in style. Timeless.

Testing our jackets and outdoor gear right here in our Montana backyard is essential because it’s where we get the real test of what these products can handle. Up in the mountains, we experience every element—snow, rain, intense heat, and biting cold.
Montana’s unpredictable weather pushes our gear to its limits, so we know if it can keep up with harsh conditions, rugged terrain, and sudden shifts. By putting each piece through these challenges, we ensure it’s built to handle anything nature throws its way—just like we do.
THE CREATION OF THE AXE & ANCHOR LOGO
This logo represents both sides of my family. Two of my biggest influences growing up, my grandfathers.
The Anchor:
The Anchor holds deep meaning, rooted in respect, honor, and preparation. Inspired by Captain Albert Haynes, who set sail at sixteen and faced the world’s challenges, I learned from him about preparation and carrying oneself with integrity—principles that guide how we treat our supporters. For me, the anchor symbolizes stability, a trust in grounding yourself amid life’s storms.
The Axe:
To me, the Axe represents the very essence of work. It’s fundamental—axes have built nations. From way back, they were used to clear land, cut down trees, and create shelter. The axe stands as a powerful symbol of work and resilience, a reminder of the grit and strength it takes to build something meaningful.
