DLB x POWER MAGAZINE

Sooooo this is officially my first cover ever!!  Since starting my little journey in the fitness industry about 5 or so years ago, I always imagined myself being featured in magazines and even possibly making it on some covers.  But the fact of the matter is, that never happen.  Not even a photoshoot.  After winning the first ever Ms. Physique Olympia title, not one magazine showed even a hint of interest in me….Why?? I have no clue. Maybe I am too big, maybe I have too much muscle, maybe I’m not “sexy” enough…and maybe a bunch of other reasons.

Well I guess Mark Bell really didn’t understand WHY either.  We have been friends with Mark for a couple years now and he approached Rob and asked him, “Why isn’t Dana on any magazine covers?”  Like me, Rob had no answer…we just don’t know.  So Mark decided to change that and put ME on the cover of the March/April 2015 which he released at the Arnold Classic.

I just want to give Mark Bell (@marksmellybell) and POWER Magazine (www.thepowermagazine.com) a huge thank you for believing in me and being such a huge supporter for both Rob and myself.  I am so happy and honored.  Thank you Mark for being the first, but evidently not the last, and hopefully many more to come…Make sure to go pick up a copy today, before they are off the shelves…… :)
